Archery Beginners

Our club only grows if we welcome more beginners to start their archery experience with us.  If you are interested in giving archery a try, please come along to one of our frequent “Come and Try Days” where our experienced coaches will get you started on our practice range.  We can provide all the equipment required.  Just come along and experience the thrill of zinging an arrow to a target.  It’s addictive.  Find the next “Come and Try Day” on our calendar HERE, or email any questions to secretary@warwickarchers.com.au

Vehicles can drive right to our practice range, and the range is wheelchair accessible.

Archery Facilities and Resources

Winding through our forested 48ha hillside site we have established approximately 2.5km of field archery trails comprising over 80 targets, mostly representations of feral pest species and African safari big-game targets and 3D models.  Think of it a bit like a forested golf course, but for archery, with a wild animal at every turn.

We also have a traditional target training area with multiple short-range targets to help beginners with their technique and aim.  This area has flood lighting for night training and casual social shoots followed by a barbecue and socialising.

We also have an extensive range of bows and accessories available for use by beginners of every level, from children to adult.  This is accompanied by experienced coaches who can get beginners started or hone the technique and consistency of even the most experienced archer.

Other Facilities

We have about 2ha of grassed and mown camping grounds with multiple 240v power supply points.  Visitors attending our events are welcome to camp or van overnight.  We also have male and female flush toilets, a shower with hot and cold tanked water, sink with running water, microwave over, tea & coffee facilities and even a toaster.  Make yourself at home.

Our clubhouse boasts a dining area with bench tables, refrigerators, and nearby open fire-pit and barbecue facilities.
